Ready to savor some middle eastern inspired homemade goodness? Let’s get cooking! 😋

Ingredients serve for 2-3 people:

150ml yoghurt 500g minced chicken 1 cups of panko (if the meatballs don’t become balls and stays a bit soft, add more panko) 1 egg 1 tbsp olive oil + more to cook the meatballs later 2-3 cloves of garlic 2 tbsp of finely chopped fresh parsley + more to garnish later Roasted pinenuts Couscous to serve your meatballs with Spices: 1 tsp sugar 1/2 tsp cinnamon 1/2 tsp ginger 1 tsp paprika 1 tsp cumin 1/2 tsp garam masala or baharat mixture 1/2 tsp black pepper 1 tsp salt

Steps:

• Yogurt Sauce: Mix the yogurt, 1 tsp garlic, lemon juice, a pinch of salt, and pepper. Chill in the fridge. (you can also use just sour cream instead if you are not a big fan of yoghurt) • Meatballs: Combine the yogurt, garlic, chicken, panko, egg, parsley, olive oil, sugar, spices, salt, and pepper. Let the mixture rest in the fridge 20 minutes so panko can soak up the liquids. Shape into 1-2 cm diameter meatballs. • Cooking: Heat olive oil in a skillet. Fry meatballs until browned and cooked through (4-5 mins). Transfer to a paper towel-lined plate. • Serving: Spread yogurt sauce and couscous on a platter. Arrange meatballs on top. Sprinkle parsley and, if desired, pine nuts. Serve hot and enjoooooy!
