Hellooo hellooo, everyone! ☀️ I realized that I never properly introduced myself to all of you (shame on me!). So here I am, ready to provide a small introduction.

My name is Ezgi, which translates to "melody" in Turkish. I made the move to Belgium seven years ago for my studies, and I'm still here, working full-time at an international company in the corporate world 👩🏻‍💻 I currently call Brussels home and I love this unique and cute country, as well as its people.

As you can imagine, relocating to a new country can be quite a solitary experience. Leaving my big group of friends and family behind was not easy. When I first arrived in Belgium, I felt lonely—like, very, very lonely. It was during this time that I started to bake and cook a lot and also I discovered the magical power of delicious food in breaking the ice between people, creating real connections. I decided to put my cooking and baking skills to good use, creating a cosy atmosphere and making new friends in the process. To no one's surprise, food proved to be the key to unlocking people's hearts, and I can now say that Belgium also has become my home.

On this account, I'll be sharing new recipes for fun that I enjoy myself whenever my full-time job allows, because, let's face it, bills still need to be paid! 😂
