πŸ’₯ Korean Corn Dog πŸ’₯

Sometimes you see a food and immediately crave for it. I had this with Korean Corn Dogs. I saw it and I had to make it! These crunchy corn dogs has oozing mozzarella cheese in it and definitely worth the hype. You can use both mozzarella and sausages 🫠 Usually, the corn dog is topped with sugar after frying but I prefer mine with a sauce so today I topped mine with @brusselsketjep sauces. You can also order these delicious sauces from their e-shop, use the code EZGIXBK until 4th of April, you will get my favorite sauce Dallas for free! Woohoo! πŸš€

Ingredients for 6 corndog:

175g all purpose flour + 5 tbsp of flour for later 3 tbsp of sugar 2 tsp baking powder 1 egg 200ml milk 1 tsp salt Mozzarella cheese Plant based sausages (optional) Panko 6 wooden sticks Frying vegetable oil (I used sunflower oil)

Steps:

β€’ Mix the flour, sugar, baking powder, salt and egg. Add the milk to the mixture and whisk it until the batter is smooth. After, pour the batter to a tall glass. β€’ Stick the mozzarella and/or sausage to the wooden sticks and roll it in the flour so that the batter can stick to it. β€’ Dip the mozzarella sticks to the batter and turn it until every side of the stick is covered with it. When the stick is fully covered with batter take it out of the glass and roll it in panko (shape it with your hands if necessary). Panko will provide a very crunchy layer just like we want! β€’ In a deep pan or pot heat the oil on high heat and fry the corn dogs until they are golden every side. After they are fried, set them aside for 30 seconds to rest. β€’ Top the corn dogs with sugar and/or your favourite @brusselsketjep sauce - I love Dallas and 1620!

Enjoy! πŸ•ΊπŸ»
